Is your most expensive blade fixed or folding???

I almost typed folding, but I just remembered a custom fixed that I never use (on account that I just plain like another, cheaper custom fixed blade better).

Fixed.

I've got way more $$$ worth of folding, but the Tank Buster is my single most valuable knife.

I don't buy high-value knives either. I can't remember what I paid for these but my highest priced knives are the Falkniven F1, RAT RC6, BM Ritter Mini-Grip and Spyderco Caly3. All were around the $100-$150 range IIRC.

My most expensive knife/sword is a fixed blade. My most expensive folder dosn't even make it half way.:p

My most expensive knife is a Busse FBMLE, which could qualify as a fixed blade. :D I have a few folders that cost between $200-$300, but none over $300, but a few other fixed blades that are well over $300.

I gotta say this was pretty damn close... but so far, by my count, the folding blades are leading. Dollar amount might be a different story lol.

Weirdly, I just noticed that my most expensive knives are indeed folders. Though I prefer my fixed blades by far.

The most I paid was for a folder, but I have a Randall I purchased 10 years ago that has almost doubled in value, so I guess my most expensive knife is a fixed blade.

Folder - Ken Onion Forum Bump.... was not all that expensive up front but has appreciated a good bit.

I have a few folders that really hurt the pocket :p. My most expensive is a folder but the knife that is probably WORTH the most is a fixed blade, I was gifted it so I guess it doesnt count.
