Due to a long standing misconfiguration of DKIM and SPF records, emails from our servers were not being delivered to Yahoo umbrella domain names, including the following:
Yahoo
AOL
Netscape
Ymail
Rocketmail
Casema
AIM
Frontier
Verizon
They've blacklisted our server. We've corrected the configuration issues. Unfortunately, over 70k of you have yahoo email addresses alone, never mind the affiliates. In order for our server reputation to heal, we have to stop hammering yahoo with thread notifications, digests, and the other assorted emails that come from the forums, because as it is registration & change password emails are also blocked.
Thus, in the next week we will be forcing all users with the above email address providers to change their email address to a different provider. At the end of the week, at 2/18/2022 12PM EST if your profile has one of the above domains and you have not changed it, your account will be put into a locked out state until update your email address. If you do not remember your password to your account and are relying on a saved login, we will assist you as best as we can.
UPDATE: In the last hour or so apparently emails from our servers are being unblocked at least on some domains. We will be monitoring this and hopefully everything will be resolved.
If you are now getting notification emails from our servers, you can do us a solid by posting screenshots of them. Thanks!
Thanks for your patience and support as we continue improving the user experience here.
