Issues with server sent emails to various Yahoo umbrella domains, which means those domains *may* be banned.

Well this stinks. Been a mostly paying member here since July 2004. I guess that will be over.

I’m not computer literate enough to have two emails. I had to have help setting up the one I have.

I don’t blame BF. It is what it is.

Bro this is not at will, if you are stating that a member must change their email provider to continue use of service… so right there you’ve already countered your own point. Now I’m not blaming the situation on BF. But your solution of forcing people to change their PRIVATE E-MAIL PROVIDER is not a reasonable one. And then your going to state no refunds because it’s the members choice not to comply…. Right. Seems legit in this day and age.

Very simple to set up an email account that you only use for here...can still use your other one for everything else. I have 2 or 3 other emails that I had to set up for various things over the years...yahoo for fantasy football, gmail for work cuz we were working on a project with google, etc.

I'm not sure what to tell you; yahoo has decided they are not accepting essential communications from us no matter what: no passwords are being sent or able to be recovered.

That prevents members from being able to change their profiles or log back in if they get locked out for whatever reason. That's not countering my point, that's something completely out of my hands.

You have the capability to change your email. You just don't want to. That's not me being unreasonable. That's you.

Do you realize how easy it is to set up a new email, and then have it forward everything to your yahoo? That is all you have to do.
 
So my AOL account just started receiving all of the notices from today relative to BladeForums... Is this issue past us or do I still need to make the switch?

LMAOOOOOOOO AMAZING. I'm shocked they are acting so quickly.

Who knows, maybe hold off for now then, we'll see what our reports say at the middle of next week and if it's good to go then we'll consider it a wash and lift restrictions

At least till the end of the middle of next week... If I have to change, I can do it at the end of next week (before the 18th)?

I feel like you are being deliberately obtuse. We are not blaming you. We are blaming Yahoo. We're giving you the opportunity to correct this so your profile isn't locked. If you choose not to do so, that's not cause for a refund.

This just happened to me, but I had already changed my AOL to Gmail.
Kind of weird that the first e-mail is "e-mail changed" followed by two notices.
 
Hmmm... maybe I spoke to soon. I don't think protonmail supports forwarding. I can forward from my old gmail account to protonmail but not sure how to do the inverse. Apologies if I got any hopes up.
 
How am I being obtuse? You took my money so I can use your service. Then tell me I need to change my email provider or YOU will lock my account. So I ask to be refunded of my purchase of a membership as I don’t wish to get a new email to use your services. And you have to audacity to keep my money, and then to call me obtuse. When you are the perpetrator here….. cool story my dude. Tell me more.
