You would have to figure that it would get hot on the day you were doing this thick old boy.

Started heat treating at 3am. Since then I have done the following:
Rough ground out 6 blanks for future orders (3 for next week, 3 for the following week). Did these while waiting for the tempering cycles to finish.
After that I cleaned this one and 2 others up, ready for handles.
Cut out handles for this bad boy
Now have the double liners gluing onto the handles.
Went to Lowes to pick up some stuff I need.
Are those .45 caliber holes?
This one will be getting much fondling at the Gathering.

I don't think you want to get too "cuddley" with the XT - he is cut from the same "cloth" as the DBH!
I just realized what is cool about this photo - the XD XT stretches all the way across the venerable stump at the JK Compound, and then some!
