Before her unfortunate accident.

Poor thing never saw it coming.. The coating is totally destroyed.

Chemical stripper did nearly nothing to the coating, I don't know if this batch was defective or something, but it barely made a dent in the coating. Usually crinkle coats for me bubble right up, this was already smoothed which may have been the culprit, but I had to grind all the coating off as the stripper even after a couple of hour bath, was just making the coating look cleaner. The extra strength kleen strip usually kills everything.

It definitely took me longer than usual, especially thinking it would be a quick project with not much to grind. Stupid coating!

Update: Put A LOT more work into her making her a little more professional. Here are some updated pictures.

Thanks guys. Don't mind the crumby pics, was doing ten things at once and just needed a couple of quick pictures.

You got me 230 i was expecting to see something alittle different. Good one man,:D:p She really looks sweet all satiny with that killer edge. "NICE"

The title was intriguing as all I could think was "Nah, no way, now just how in the heck did he...???" And then I clicked on the thread to find my belief in the B11 restored! :p But it was only a matter of time and it definitely looks better with the coating destroyed!

I wouldn't say they're NICE underneath, but the only dimpling is on the riccaso. Had I been able to chemically strip it and not grind the coating off it probably would have been a lot less work.

WOW! You got me too!! I was thinking what Tim was thinking...what?!?...no way?!?...how?!?...than I saw it and was like wow...NICE!!! I also thought, didn't he just get that from the BladeOGanza?!?:thumbup:

Burned me too! I thought "Another one?! The man's a wrecking machine!"

I'm going to hold my breath until they release the LE version.(wish me luck)

*deep inhalation*

You did a very nice job on that one. I love those mirror edges you put on your knives as well. It is so even it looks like it was machine sharpened...

Best, Les.
