Me after I caught a hot one to the lip in afghanistan in 2006. there is some not so great language at the end but not horrible. It was pretty wild

Man,that looks painful,I hate lip injuries.
Sorry,but I gotta ask,was it a hot round?Shrapnel?
Surely a hot dog didn't do that?:eek:

It was a Ied strike. nothing serious but I was gunning and it blew the front of the humvee up in the air and then as it came down and hit the ground my face went forward right in to the butt of the 240 and split it wide open. they wanted to send me back to germany for it but I couldn't see all that over a few stitches. They were concerned i was going to get a cleft lip due to the dirt and sand in the air. The shots and stitches hurt worse than the actual banging. I have the full video somewhere on this computer but I'm struggling to find it.
 
After the army there isn't much that makes me smile but a full auto glock can do it for sure :)

The 240 is designed to destroy whatever is downrange of it. If you're getting injured on the safe end you're doing it wrong!

I had to look up 240,we had the old M60 when I was in the suck.(not that I ever got to shoot one being a mechanic):o
