Within a week of Evan being diagnosed with leukemia friends of ours had an artist do this drawing for Evan. He is the tiny Avenger in the front. They made them into bumper stickers and shirts Etc. Very cool to go to the store and see people wearing a shirt with your little boy on it! We thought the play on words was cool going from Avengers to Evangers.

That is so cool!

Grunt Soldier and KyEnglish, I have shirts left, Medium, Large, Xlarge and 3X large but out of 2x. The XL'S do run pretty big. let me know what size and PM or email me your shipping address.

Side note. If you'd like to help Evan out rather than send a donation Make a donation to Kids Cancer research. There is a lot of good places out there. Like St Baldricks etc where the money goes 100% to research. Now Here is why, Im gonna throw you a few facts that gets me a bit choked up when I say or type them but here goes

Adult average # of years of life lost to cancer -15, average age of Diagnoses- 67
Child average # of years of life lost to cancer - 71, average age of Diagnoses - 6
All types of childhood cancer combined recieve only 4% of US Federal funding for cancer research
60% of all funding in drug developement in adult cancer comes from Pharmaceutical companies. Kids, ALMOST NONE, ! Why, because childhood cancer drugs are not profitable.
Before they turn 20 1 in 300 boys will have cancer and girls 1 in 333 will have cancer
World wide a child is diagnosed every 3 minutes
( minimum of 50 per year just at the hospital Evan and Hanna go to)
this one is tough for me to even say or think about..... For kids who survive, the battle is far from over because of the treatments they recieve as young children by the time they are 45, 95% of them will have chronic health problems and 80% will have severe or life threatening conditions ( BREAKS MY HEART, Hard to look at your baby and think about thoes facts)

didint mean to be a downer but or hijack the thread just info for you guys and sometimes I jsut gotta get this stuff off my chest.

I did say post anything but religion or politics so you are not hijacking this thread Joel & I thank you for the pics & the update on Evan.
That t shirt is way cool & the pic of your old man made me remember how glad I was that they had stopped the draft when I was in HS.

Those stats on the kids vs adults cancer sucks for sure.
I like to think that the problems they might face in adulthood from the treatment they receive now is better that the alternative, but I don't blame you one bit for your tears.
All you can do is cherish the time you have with your kids now.

Smokes up for Evan,Hanna & all the others out there.

I still regret not being able to check out Abby Road when I was in London, but we were with a tour group & the tour obviously didn't include Abby Road or Strawberry Fields.
That was my Marine Corps days,we went all over Europe on different cruises.

had to take the ferry saturday from Grand Isle, VT to Plattsburgh, NY.

Before....
