It's Old Timer time, fellas: Show your U.S.-made OTs

The Fort The Fort thanks! I appreciate it. I'd actually found one at a pawn shop awhile back. But somebody had took it to a bench grinder bad, probably 1/3 of the blade width ground away. Then to make it worse looks like they tried to make it a flat grind. Very sad:(.

Here are my four Old Timers

Collected a few over the years....some used some mint condish. They all belong in the early days of my collection.
One of the top ones there the Stockmans came in it's blister pack which has long since disintegrated.

Great bunch of OTs you’ve got there. Those 6OTs are really nice!:thumbsup:

This is a very hard to find, Old Timer.
These boxes were made for an Australian Knife Seller.
Only one or two stayed in the U.S.A.
These Old Timers a 935 [8OT] and a 933 [107OT] were made about 1971-72.

That is not an old time, that is a very OLD TIMER.
The 1961 Schrade 8OT, took me six years to find.
The 2004 Schrade 8OT, just popped up one day.
The Rope Cut - Blue Bone Schrade, never made it to production.

The bone is nice on your original 8OT, mine has nice saw cut lines as well those aren't great pictures. I'll post a better shot tonight

Two of these 8OT, came with my 2004 Anniversary Display.
The Display was delivered to a store in late January 2004 - and came with 6 of each knife.
Schrade closed down, only months later. I was very lucky to find this un-opened Display unit.
Postage to Australia, at that time was $U150.

A few years ago I realized that while I had owned Old Timer knives as a teenager, I didn't have one now. So I went shopping on the auction site and found this 34OT still in it's clam-shell packaging.

A coworker brought this 152 sharpfinger to work. It was rusty, and almost as sharp as a butter knife. So I confiscated it. Went to work on it with some wet dry sandpaper and oil, and got rid of the rust, and then I made it sharp. By the time I was done, I didn't want to give it back to him, so I traded a Kershaw for it.
