The boss (well, MY boss) just made me a new design tinder bag. I haven't waxed it yet but I like it.

That's freakin' awesome. Tell the kitchen help she does good work. I wanna get a flint and steel in the near future. Cool beans.

Thank goodness for page 2....the first one is filled with too many "in on one!" and whatnot....'course, mighta been in on one if I wasn't reading what everyone had for dinner in the old thread ;).

Your boss does nice work, Trade. She might be your boss, but I bet she's a pretty good employer. Seems to like making stuff for you.

I hope this snark doesn't turn into the hourly weather report like the last one....

snark!:D

Listed a few excellent knives for sale in effort to get this TV. I hate to sell these, but ill be re-buying them in the near future... Silly but it avoids any arguments with the wife.

What's funny is I'm looking at this now, only after I already saw it on the exchange. Maybe you've inspired me to liquidate a few things that I really don't need. Or....maybe not.
Also, your post about the TV was the only page one post that didn't say something like "in on one!" Only reason I read it.

am I.... in on two? wow that's a first.
also, today has been a day of devious designs, also brass shavings.

Haven't had it. What do you think of it?

In regards to the Rowan's Creek:

DISCLAIMER: I'm not an expert taster or anything--far from it in fact, though I've always wanted to attempt to give something of a tasting note (it's kinda fun :D).

I quite enjoyed it. I had about a 2-3 finger pour in one of those tasting-type whiskey flutes. Not sure what exactly those glasses are called.

made by Kentucky bourbon distillers, called a "small batch boutique bourbon."

Bottled at 50.05% (i thought bourbon had to be bottled at 80 proof tops to be bourbon. not sure if a higher proof qualifies a "straight" Kentucky bourbon?)

I thought it was a rather pleasant, sweet and full smelling whiskey with a warm, almost orange hue in the glass.

tasted sweet and smooth with a mild bite/burn, accompanied by tastes of cinnamon and of course oak.

I paid about 33 bucks i think? i thought it was worth every penny.

Just my .02 :D

EDIT: Upon further research, it appears they also did a similar Noah's Mill "small batch boutique bourbon," in a very similar bottle and style. I'm assuming the distiller does several different recipes.
