It's a literary device; it's called hyperbole.....although I might be exaggerating.

I've told you a million times, don't exaggerate!
Any Futurama fans here?

Heck yeah!!

Edit: Just had an idea: what about Bender on one of those "fender bra's"? I know..... not a decal. IMO it'd still be funny.

I thought that said "Bender in a bra"

James I got the steel, Thanks again man!! Ill be playing with it later this evening!!

Cool, you're very welcome.

"Deadwood" was awesome. I've seen the whole series three times. We watched it again this fall/winter because all the football teams we follow were sucking. Al Swearengen is one of the baddest-ass baddasses to ever badass on TV

35F today! SWMBO nixed the idea to wear shorts to work today.

Doesn't surprise me one bit. I wonder how many other gadgets we buy that do the same thing.

My phone has a blue LED flashing all the time, when i looked in the settings as to why it was listed as "voice recording while screen is off" .. what? I figured it was some voice activation feature of the phone, but I have all that turned off..so I don't know.

I knew about that. Saw a youTube video of a guy taking his cell apart, and there was an extra battery, and a microphone. What a shock. On your computer, bring up the command prompt, type in "tracert nsa.gov" without the quotation marks. You'll see they're watching you. Anyways, enough of politics.

pretty much anything with a camera on it, if you have a laptop try covering the lens and watch how your internet starts to act up.... it's got some kind of face recognition on it.

i don't get much in the way of a response to that. maybe the work firewall.

and if they weren't watching you they will be

for 2014, just consider unplugging or putting a post it over all cameras you aren't using. including your xbox or playstations, wi, your tv, phones, tablets, the hidden on in your shower head and alarm clock :D

the LG TVs have this "share your personal information and phone home" menu. yes/no. which the device ignores. many people have reported setting up firewall traps, and noticed that the TV basically is reading your network, reporting the filenames of any media it finds, and that you watch, all your activity, and more. then they lied about it. then they backtracked and said it was for marketing, and that they weren't saving the information; then the geeks pointed out a few details.

worse, they also did this in Europe, esp Germany, which has amazingly strict privacy laws. LG is going to be fine MILLIONS of dollars, if not BILLIONS :)

yes, your crap is spying on you. more and more so. would not surprise me if it's a combination of NSA requirements, and requests, or just plain "getting to know you", and the companies then decide to to whatever they like with it.

your car too: http://www.businessinsider.com/ford-exec-gps-2014-1

All that the tracert (trace route) command does is show the path your computer would take to any given web space. It's a diagnostic utility and the same command will work for bladeforums.com or google.com. Not saying there's nothing happening, but that one is garbage. Perhaps all it does is alert them that you are buying into paranoia.

"web space". lol. it has nothing to do with web. the web is imaginary figments. network is all :D okay, that imaginary figment pays the bills ;)

wiki says '''In computing, traceroute is a computer network diagnostic tool for displaying the route (path) and measuring transit delays of packets across an Internet Protocol (IP) network. The history of the route is recorded as the round-trip times of the packets received from each successive host (remote node) in the route (path); the sum of the mean times in each hop indicates the total time spent to establish the connection. Traceroute proceeds unless all (three) sent packets are lost more than twice, then the connection is lost and the route cannot be evaluated. Ping, on the other hand, only computes the final round-trip times from the destination point.'''

the important part is seeing if you can REACH the end point or not. from my prior comment, apparently my work firewall actively blocks that endpoint ;) lol.

the secondary part, is seeing how long your route is, if it changed (from previous routes), and how LONG it takes.

but most people don't ever need to know it.

but if you ping them, they will surely keep a record of it ;)

I wasn't getting technical. I know web space is just an imaginary term...should have used web address, since most people don't type IP addresses into their browser.
