Last shot... gonna be a nice group...*mental breakdown*...d'oh! I used to do that once in a while with long range rifle. A string of v-bulls, then a mental collapse on the last shot.

100%. Don't disagree with that whatsoever. I was only saying that I've had a similar feeling. Shot these earlier this summer at 500 yards. At that distance, those are all kill shots. The heart and lungs easily cover that area. Well done Richard![]()
That’s still a spine shot or both shoulders. Maybe even blow out the top lungs on the concussion and velocity.100%. Don't disagree with that whatsoever. I was only saying that I've had a similar feeling. Shot these earlier this summer at 500 yards.

I think if I hadn't seen how fairly tightly it was patterning I would've carried on without skipping a beat. The "that'll be a pretty decent group if I don't mess up this last shot" thought caused just enough anxiety that I rushed it and subsequently f-ed an otherwise nice string of shots.

Y’all in trouble.
The Bladesports competition will probably start at 10. With so much going on it will be a long day.Nathan the Machinist
Do we have a timeline for the events on Saturday? Trying to figure out flights.
Some trainer told me they are always taking the worst one out before looking at a group. You’re doing great !Last shot... gonna be a nice group...*mental breakdown*...d'oh! I used to do that once in a while with long range rifle. A string of v-bulls, then a mental collapse on the last shot.

Thanks, but for deliberate precision shooting I don't want any strays. Some trainer told me they are always taking the worst one out before looking at a group. You’re doing great !
Is that powder burn I see on that target?
We can arrange someone shooting a 500 right next to you at odd intervals. LOLThanks, but for deliberate precision shooting I don't want any strays.
There are a lot of distractions at the indoor range. I'm assuming that at the shindig I won't have some dude in the next lane blasting slugs from a shotgun, 3 yards away from a man target with organs illustrated on it. Although with Tanto I guess it's a possibility...
I heard that stragglers identify as squatters on Wednesday. There's even a few stragglers on Tuesday.
