100%. Don't disagree with that whatsoever. I was only saying that I've had a similar feeling. Shot these earlier this summer at 500 yards.

I think if I hadn't seen how fairly tightly it was patterning I would've carried on without skipping a beat. The "that'll be a pretty decent group if I don't mess up this last shot" thought caused just enough anxiety that I rushed it and subsequently f-ed an otherwise nice string of shots.

That’s still a spine shot or both shoulders. Maybe even blow out the top lungs on the concussion and velocity.

I only shot a 338 mag or 22 (of course others too), Itsz amazing how effective it is.Compressed Hand loads, and Nosler Accubonds. Winchester 250 grain silver tips did a fine job too.

I tested everything out in double wet fertilizer bags to check out fragmentation tests first.

Nosler Ballistic Tips were the worst, complete disintegration.

Never lost a deer, or other small game animal, or bird. Everything has been 1 shot. Gramps taught me well since I was 10.

Otherwise we just ate snails, cattails, clams, crabs, catfish, wild onion, bullfrog, all of it being good 👍

There will be a few people in town Thursday night. Most folks arrive Friday night. The competitions are on Saturday. The knife show and dinner is Saturday night. Sunday morning is the Sunday shootout. Most people leave sunday. Some people leave monday. There's even a few stragglers on Tuesday.

Thanks, but for deliberate precision shooting I don't want any strays.
There are a lot of distractions at the indoor range. I'm assuming that at the shindig I won't have some dude in the next lane blasting slugs from a shotgun, 3 yards away from a man target with organs illustrated on it. Although with Tanto I guess it's a possibility...
