Its true the Mili is the best Spyderco!

+1 for the D2 Millie! I totally agree you on that. The patina on that blade is awesome. About how long did it take for the blade to get that nice patina?

30 minutes in warm red wine vinegar:D It has been stable and hasn't changed much. It was very dark when I took it out of the vinegar, but looked like this after a good clean and has stayed that way.
The last photo is several months after the first patina pics.

Mine had a few grey stains from cutting rhubarb before the patina. Haven't seen any later;) Never had any rust before or after on it. My carbon steel fixed blades all have a natural patina from use, but I wanted to force this a bit on the Millie:o

Those D2 Military pics almost make me want to do that to mine.
It has a nice vintage look about it. Great job.

Any Millie is good, but CPM D2 is kinda special:

Agreed. That's why I have two of those. Actually, one is in my pocket, and coincidently I'm also wearing a Luminox on an OD Zulu and a Malkoff'd Surefire.

Great minds think alike!

BTW, love that patina.

The C2 with a M30W and 2-stage switch is about as good as it gets lightwise:D

My fav is the G10 Endura, but I very much like the Military. Wish the clip could be positioned for tip up and the tip was not so fragile.

If spyderco only had one "best" knife. then why do we own so many spyderco knives?
the best spyderco knife is the next one you buy. If I only could have one of my 12 spydercos it would be a delica.

Ehhhhmmmm...

Ti ATR rocks...S90V Manix 2...S90V Military...upcoming Ti Military (wish it had S90V)...

Endura G10 for me. It solved every problem I had with my original stainless Police. Slick handle, grip too large and delicate tip.

I agree on the Milli. But any Spyderco made in USA is the best! I don't buy their non USA knives.
