I've acquired an abused 2 dot 110

The blade looks pretty darn good and the chip in the handle maybe covered under the warranty.Looks like a keeper for sure Stelth!

I think we have everything needed to restore that 110. It will need a new rocker and inlay. The inlays with only 2 rivets, not counting the rocker rivet, are the ones that we are out of. The Ebony that we do have is all pre-drilled with the 3 inlay rivet holes.
I'd recomend sending it in, to my attention, so I can mess with, I mean restore it! :)

I love this place!!!!!! :thumbup::thumbup::D:D

WOW. I will get this knife right out Mr. Houser! I appreciate your personal response. I'll be mailing it to Idaho soon. Thanks.

Wow, you can get ebony replaced:eek: Thats good info to know.

Is that refurb, warranty or either?

I think it depends upon just how flagrant and horrific the abuse proves to be......but Joe has tended to go the extra mile (miles, many, many miles, sometimes) in the past.

When it comes to the ebony scales......it takes an incredible impact to break them.

:)

The previous owner of this abused knife must have put this thing in a vise...there are grip marks all over the brass. My father-in-law found it in his swale in front of his house.

Well, I sent of this poor abused specimen to Post Falls today. Hopefully the next time I post here it will be the "after" pictures.

Stelth, Your post office is open today ? Ours are all close for the holiday . Hope your 2 dot 110 comes back in original condition, looking fine . DM

The lobby to the P.O. was open and they have an automated machine in there that weighs your package and takes a credit card so I was able to get it off.

Frank, I've been fortunate enough to have lived most of my life in rural America hence I've not seen the offerings of a modern post office . So, to me when their closed nothing goes . DM ;)

I was surprised as well. I didn't know July 5th was a holiday but the lobby door was open and people were going in and out and using the machine so I did too.
