I've had my Superleaf for a few days now

I'm close on picking up a Superleaf, but I'm waiting until the Native 5 comes out. I want to compare the two before I make any decisions.

I'm the fellow he bought it from. The two reasons I sold it were the choil and the width in my pocket compared to the Para 2. I was really pumped when the Superleaf was announced, but the P2 has eclipsed it for me.

It's still a very nice knife...but to me almost everything suffers in comparison to the Para 2 or the Manix 2.

I don't own an SL but it's on the top of my list. All of your posts are really making me want one now!

Just adding a little more motivation. ;)

Has anyone done a side by side of a Superleaf and a Manix I already that they can post in this thread? I've can do one later today if not. Thanks

i had a superleaf but i got rid of it pretty fast. i love my para 2 and the compression lock. i liked how the superleaf felt in the hand but the cut out for the compression lock was too small. many have said they dont have an issue with it but i couldnt get past it. i really wish it was a tad larger :/

I hope you guys are aware that if you get a SuperLeaf you have to buy a SuperHawk to keep it company??? ;)

The Superleaf looks awesome and is on my short list but I have the same concern about the lock which has made me evaluate other Spydies instead.

I see that as a concern, but the tab on the Superleaf sticks up well farther than that of my Para2 and its jimped, so it grabs my thumb better than that of the Para2.

I'm not selling either one of them any time soon though.

The Superleaf is a great knife. One of the things that appeals to me is the flatness of the blade above the Spydie-hole, where I like to place my thumb on delicate push cuts. I love the Millie, Para 2, and Manix for many uses but the top of the blades are not as ideal, for my tastes, for such cutting chores.
