Ivory & Damascus Folder

Todd, I bet folks might be interested in the story behind the ivory and damascus. I know I would!
Any idea of the age of the ivory? where it came from? And you surprised me with the damascus! How did that come about?

Beautiful addition to my pockets Todd!

Well the Ivory came from the Spirit of Steel Show, I seen it and it really
looked great, So I grabbed it, to go with this really cool Damascus that
Tommy Gann had made. Tommy's table was next to mine, he won best of Show, and best Bowie, and Most Innovative.
Good job Tommy
Any way Tommy say's he has this 1095 and nickel Damascus,
I should try on a folder. I said OK. :D :D

And WALLAAA! There the results....
Just a beautiful addition for Bill's pockets.
Not a real big exciting story, but that's what it is. :D
Thanks, take care.
Todd

It is a big story Todd. I not only have your knife to look forward to, but the damascus you got from Tommy Gann. The impressive old ivory you found. If you hadnt been at that show.....! I hope you have more because now that you have done this more will be wanted by others I am sure!

Todd, I just received the new knife from the postman. It is even more than I could have hoped it would be. The pictures just did not do it justice.
It is bigger than I thought it would be, and the ivory is way smoother and sleeker than I expected. It almost glows it is so deep and beautiful.

The blade is breathtaking. slightly textured, but it is my first damascus so I am sure that is normal. How best to take care of this beautiful blade and ivory Todd?

Lordy. I am shaking. You have a real gift Todd. I feel very fortunate to be the caretaker of this fine fine knife. Thank you so much!

wow. just wow.

Bill,
Thank you so much for the kind words, I really appreciate them.
You should keep the blade lightly oiled, and the spring also.
The Mammoth Ivory is stabilized, It's sealed really good.
So just keep it clean, like with a good piece of shammy.
Thanks!
Todd
