IWB Holster 4 glock 26

I would recommend either the crossbreed super tuk deluxe like others have recommended as well. You could also check out stealthgearusa they make some great iwb as well. The advantage of the stealthgear holster over the crossbreed is its cooler to wear in summer and there really isnt a break in period were as the leather takes a bit to form and break in. Other then that they are both great holsters.

On the belt situation a good stiff leather belt like you have will work. But a good leather belt that was made specifically for carrying makes a huge difference. Crossbreed makes some great gun belts that are worth every penny.

I just bought a remora mini carbon carry holster-- a RFT-- and 2 magazine holsters. Just over $100.

I can use the RFT for pocket carry or IWB. This will give me time to try out different positions easily, till I find

Out how I want to carry. Plus it could be here as early as Thursday.

I will be getting more specific, I really like a lot of the holsters suggested. Some take a month or more to actually get

And that's fine. 👍

I've been pleased with the Remora quality. Surprisingly very grippy. I can even carry with gym shorts IWB so it's pretty secure. If you get yours that fast then you're very lucky. I think it took at least 3 weeks to get both of mine.

Amazon, it was in stock. I just got conformation it has been shipped. Will arrive between Jan, 14th and the 20th. Today I was trying out the 26. Man, I love it. 300 rounds perfectly. I was a little concerned it would be a little different to shoot. Nope, very easy to shoot, great groups at 5-7-10 &. 15 yards.

I was talking with my buddy who works at goshoot range. And I ended up getting a leather IWB Wild Bill holster as a temp.
It is a little bulky thou, I don't like having this gun or holster in the appendix position. I have at the 4 o'clock position.

Great! Just what I needed to read!
I love my 26! When I carry, I'm good with OWB serpa holster at 3-4 o'clock..
Open carry doesn't bother me or I just pull my shirt over it.
Then again, I haven't needed a gun for 33yrs, for self defense purposes.
Buuutttttt.. Now that I see some of these sweet "rides", I might have to get in there market for one or 2 of them! ;)

Oh ok, wasn't aware Amazon had them. I'll keep that in mind next time. Be sure to let us know what you think when it comes in. And yes, the 26 is a nice little shooter.

I got them today, so far much better than my wild bill holster.

Have you thought of adding a Clip Draw? http://clipdraw.com/glocks/

When I was back home I had one of these on my G26 and it worked fantastic. It really made the pistol easy to hide and was secure. Best of all, it did not impede any use of a holster if I should have desired to use one.

That is absolutely not a good idea.....

You need to carry with a holster that covers your trigger guard. In my opinion the clip draw crap is just irresponsible. Don't do it. If you are planning on carrying without a round in the chamber that is also not a good idea. No one with any respected knowledge on the subject will advocate carrying without a round in the chamber other then the Israeli operators that train extensively doing that. It adds a huge level of extra training that you need to perfect. Racking the slide extremely quickly under stress will just add several problems that could happen. In a situation where you only have 1 or 2 seconds you really do not want to have to rack your slide first. Again, all under heavy stress and adrenaline. Not to mention if your support hand is injured or you are holding someone at bay then you are really screwed. Sure, you COULD rack your slide on your belt if you practice that. But screw all that. I don't think anyone should carrying without a round chambered and I also don't think anyone should carry using one of those clips. No offense doc that is just my opinion.

I would definitely recommend pretty much any of the new "hybrid" holsters. I carry one from Old Faithful, Hidden Hybrid or Comp-tac daily and love them. I've seen a lot of good things about Alien Gear also.

I can recommend pj holsters for iwb. slim. Easy on and off. Used mine in a ccw class with my G27 and it worked great. Comfortable, good retention, and it stayed where I put it (I know some people are leery of the kydex clip. http://pjholster.com/

Of all the things I love about the pj iwb I think the easy on off is the best. I have other holsters for my Glocks and LCR and they seem to grab when putting them on. Especially when I am trying to slip it in while sitting in my car. The pj just slips right in.

The one thing I have to recommend when I hear someone is looking to iwb carry a G26/27 is this https://concealablecontrol.com/

Get them. Try them. To me they are a must in taking full advantage of the grip length of G26/27 for concealability. They make all the difference in the world for purchase on your draw and controllability in one handed shooting.

Good luck in your search. It takes trial and error to get it right. You made a great choice on the G26.

Converge, I respect your opinion. I know, and have known, a number of guys that carried guns professionally and have used and recommended the Clip Draw. Sometimes you cannot afford the bulge a holster makes (even the best). It is simple. Keep your finger off the trigger and if you can't you have no business carrying a pistol.
However, I will agree a holster is better (but, there again, some people cannot keep their fingers off of the trigger when holstering...same thing).

Clothing could get caught on the trigger also it's not a stretch for that to happen. I appreciate your suggestion, never seen that before.

I carry my 27 in an Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 2.0. Had for about a 18 months. I'm happy with it.

I definitely agree with that, but in that case I wasn't really thinking about someone pressing the trigger with their finger... more along the lines of clothing or accessories getting into the trigger gaurd. It can happen with a holster too upon reholstering but with the clip draw it's a constant concern. It may be rare for something to happen but the chance is there inherently. With a holster covering the trigger constantly there's no need to stress or worry. It would provide great concealment though no question. To each his own

I just got my galco instructors belt 1.75 width, doesn't work well with the remora carbon fiber holster clip. Holster came right out a couple of times when I tried to pull the gun out. Works good with the RFT holster that is clip less. I like the belt, can make it nice and snug.

I m really liking the stealth gear or the PJ. Only problem is I may be moving shortly. Don't want to move and complicate things with a waiting list and different addresses.

The holster may have to be broken in, try putting the gun in a plastic bag and then inserting it into the holster and let it sit like that over night. It will break in the leather faster and the draw will become smoother. I never did that I just dealt with the stiffness for a few weeks but I heard it works.

And The clips should be of a design that grabs the bottom of the belt so the holster can't be pulled up. What is exactly preventing that from happening as you describe?

I just bought a HSP incog eclipse IWB full guard holster. Pricey yes, lol. This will be my fifth holster for the G 26. Hopefully that will solve my problems.
