IWB knife carry for bigger guys

I've had success carrying the SOCP IWB, and I am not skinny and, particularly when sitting, have enough belly that I need to accommodate the shape.

I carry my SOCP at the 1o'clock position on my right side, with the tip canted at about a 30-degree angle towards my crotch. When I draw I pull towards the opposite angle away and to the side of my stomach. This works well for sitting too. When seated, the knife naturally sits in the crease between your leg and torso, and can similarly be drawn at an angle away from the body.

Finally someone who carry’s the socp. Thank you

I've carried plenty of knives IWB, and I'm a fatty...

350lbs. You may be over thinking this.

With that sheath and built in clip....find a spot that does not feel like wrestling a cattle prod, and go for it.

If you are worried about cutting your self on the draw, try a static cord looped through your belt or belt loop, and try it out.
