am i the only one whos waiting to hear more info on this? checking Esee's sit all it says is:

"This knife is not being manufactured at this time. At this time we do not have a price point or additional spec to disclose. Nor do we have a timleline on actual production. Photo below is a concept design made by Tom Novak. Specs, and colors may change slightly with actual production models."

and they even go so far as to provide a pic...what a tease

That pic has been there for years. I wouldn't hold your breath.

I have been waiting for this for a long time. I just want an ESEE folder now...

I have been waiting for this for a long time. I just want an ESEE folder now...

i only have a couple of ESEE's products, but they are definitely money well spent. thats why i been waiting on this folder concept to become reality... i also want one NOW

The picture, is it an actual knife that one lucky person is using or just a photoshop rendition of what it could be?

When I first saw that drawing and discussion on the Izula folder years ago I said, "that knife will be my first ESEE (or was it RAT then )"...

Still don't own one. Take my money please!

I believe Jeff has said that they're currently looking for a U.S. manufacturer to produce it. They were looking at Lionsteel but I guess after the DPX stuff they decided it wasn't for them.

Little known fact: There was also an ESEE 3 folder prototype that Jeff had pics of him using it. Scrapped it because he didn't like the design.

There were actually multiple ESEE3 Folder prototypes. A few members have them. Last I heard this was a possibility again early next year, at least thats what Jeff said. A certain website has a notification up for the Izula folder...

Are there any knives in production that look/feel similar to this? I've always wanted a folding Street Beat! :D.

Hope it would be an Izula2 folder, if not I'll take the Street Beat folder as well. (I'll take most other Perrin designs for that..)
