That's because we drink beer and Becker folks drink wine coolers.
LOL, light-hearted but great thread! It's funny about the booby jokes... The first thing I thought to myself after seeing the 2nd shot with Lulu cutting the lime is that this was an attempt at some covert booby pictures!
Of all the things anyone could have said to HD, telling him he looks like Ethan is the lowest.

After posting all those pictures last night, I realized that my HEST was missing from its sheath....
...I thanked her and returned it to its now cordless sheath. I then installed the molle clips and put it back on my water bottle carrier where it belongs. I will never lose it in a bar again. No way am I drinking water in a bar. This is the kind of real world testing I provide as a public service.
That's hilarious. I carried one of my HESTs using the cord lock for a while but I much prefer it with the boot/belt clip from an older RC-3 on it. I fell in love with the clip when I got the 3MIL, Caine sent me another one he didn't use, and now I have a HEST and my 3MIL both set up the same way. Secure on the belt the way I wear it (inside belt) yet quick on an off for relocation when necessary at the same time.
After much testing, I have concluded that for urban carry, you can't beat a good folder. Fixed blades are best for outdoor or kitchen use.
way awesome thread.willing barmaid plus knives = mucho fun.
btw, until I can find a good folder for less than an izzy i may have to stick to fixed. just ordered a hest. izzy is next i think. what's your good folder, HD?
Hey thats Ethan right there......![]()

She liked the bottle opener feature on the Becker Necker, but found the handle to be less comfortable than the Izula II.
After posting all those pictures last night, I realized that my HEST was missing from its sheath. I had been carrying it on my belt. I looked all around my Jeep and where I had walked. Apparently, I had slashed the paracord and not actually put it in the sheath. I think Lulu may have distracted me, and there was alcohol involved. So I drove back into town at 11:30 to look for it. The parking lot at the bar was full, as the late night karaoke crowd was there. So I was wandering around in the dark with a flashlight looking under cars near where I had parked. No luck. I went into the crowded bar and was shining my flashlight on the floor around where I had been sitting. Cora, a friend of mine there said, "I got it. It has to be one of yours. It's razor sharp." She found it near the front door. She had given it to the owner for safe keeping. I thanked her and returned it to its now cordless sheath. When I got back home I installed the molle clips and put it back on my water bottle carrier where it belongs. I will never lose it in a bar again. No way am I drinking water in a bar. This is the kind of real world testing I provide as a public service.
I usually carry my Swamp Rat by Blade-Tech, but I carried CS Voyagers for years. Spydercos, Benchmades, Bucks. Find one you like at a price you can afford. They all cut.
This contest was rigged.
Adding the micarta scales to the Becker would have put it on more even ground with the ESEE.
At least have the decency to cord wrap the damn thing!
