I'm with razorback on this question!
To me, that finishing knot in the lanyard ring is the prettiest solution.

Please enlighten us :D

I saw this question asked in another thread, but I was going to let Drod take the lead since he came up with it. He said he was going to post a tutorial but I don't know if he did or not.

I'll try and explain, since my art skills are lacking.

The standard wrap up the handle is followed up to the circle. This must be pressed very tightly all the way up to the circle, and then the remaining cord is fed through the circle, then back down through the handle hole. You then take both cord ends straight up over the opposite side of the circle and begin wrapping the left cord end to the left and the right cord end to the right, around the circle back toward the handle. Once the handle is completely covered, you feed the left cord end around the right side of the cord which crosses the circle, and the right cord end through the left side of the cord that crosses the circle. Tie a square knot on that side. Then feed the left and right sections of cord back through their respective sides and tie another square knot on the other side. Then just trim and burn the ends. If you have moistened the cord prior to beginning, the cord will tighten while drying and provide a tight non-slip wrap on the knife.

When copying a new wrap, it helps to have the picture up on your screen for comparison.

Let me know if you get it.

Hi,

I think I got it.
But, since I only have one paracord I didn't cut or melt anything, I just wove it trough the lanyard hole some times more.
I need to practice a little bit more, but allready I think it's pretty neat.

Thanks for the tutorial!
