ok my main concern was the draw. It is pretty deep in the pocket... so I can see myself slicing the pocket with the razor sharp izula on a quick draw..... maybe I am missing something..... my friends did get me a shirt that says " I might not be too smart"... and on the back it says " but I can lift heavy things" so like I said... I am missing something

I just push off the bar infront of the blade and it comes right out. You can also just pull the sheath and all out then take the knife from the sheath. Either way works fine.

Very cool idea. I actually ordered the clip from CountyComm earlier this week before seeing this thread, but your method makes much more sense than the concept I was going to try.

The use of the pocket clip from a folder looks pretty secure. I like that it has screws for attachment (instead of adhesive).

Im gonna have to try something like this too.. I just got my Izula and am having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to carry it. I really want it to be my new EDC but I just need to find a reasonable way to carry it. (this is my first fixed blade)
On my belt the handle is to high. As of now I've just been throwing it in my back pocket but I'm always worried about loosing it. In a perfect world I would like to carry it horizontal on my belt right in the middle of my back. If anyone has any good horizontal carry options, please share!

I always just stick it in my pocket. I think if I clipped the sheath to my pocket, I'd end up sticking myself in the leg upon reinsertion.
