Anyone know of anyone working on scales for the Izula, like the scales for the H.E.S.T,?
I think this would be a handy addition

I don't think there are any standard micarta scales for the Izula. It's meant to be lightweight and easily-carried. I'm sure, however, that some ingenious member of bladeforums has managed to mod a set of micarta handles for their Izula. For me, I'll stick with the paracord.

They're working on scales for the Izula. It's just a "back burner" project. :)

would be good if you had a leather belt sheath and scales, would make a reasonable small game skinning knife no?

If a guy was going to make his own does anyone know of a good place to go for how to (references) and a source to buy the material?

I have some black G10 about 1/8" thick I'm thinking of putting on one......with tan leather sheath......mmmmmm, I can see it now......;)

Thanks guys, I wasn't sure how Rat Packers would take me "defacing" the coveted Izula.....but it's made a believer out of me.....and I now have a pretty serious itch for the RC4:)

Knife looks great. My wife saw your pics, now she wants a pink Izula with a white handle.

That's a very nice job on the scales. I'd personally prefer the scales to be held together with screws, but they still look pretty sick.
