Izula Scales

Shotgun Shogun, it was the USMC Black leather Dye. It took all of 10 seconds to dip the two panels right inside the bottle. I did use throw away latex gloves, so I was not too worried about getting some dye on my hands. Wiped em down, let them dye over night... That's it.
 
Well I got some scales, attached them to the Izula and have to say that I prefer the cordwrap for my hand. Haven't done any extensive use with one or the other but I like the thinner profile with the cordwrap. So, like an idiot, rather than either return or sell the scales, I just ordered another Izula - that way I'll have both options at fingertips.....:rolleyes: (and 2 Izulas.......)

I just ordered a pair of scales.
 
Received two sets of scales from T-K-C an hour ago, they fit perfect on the Izulas. My first impression is that they make the Izula feel more powerful and ergonomic due to the improved grip. A great feature to an already great knife, perfect, I love them already, well done ESEE!
 
i own 4 izulas. [well i gave the wife the pink one for our anniversery.] all have scales. but i will be bleaching a set in the sun with bleach this week before i dye them pink. will post pictures as soon as i am finished.
