I like mine naked. While the handle is a bit more comfortable wrapped, naked it fits flatter in my pocket, lays nicer under a shirt or jacket when worn around my neck and is easier to clean after use.

Same here. And while wrapping may make it a little more comfortable it's still too small for my hands, and some paracord won't change that. IMO less is more. Keep It Simple.

Why not buy 2 and have one dressed and one naked?

or three

1 naked
1 wrapped
1 with scales :D

I wrapped mine with a bootlace I impregnated with epoxy resin, it's a slimmer profile than 550 but adds a lot of comfort for me

iuke... what are you thinking?!? It's freakin 27 degrees outside! Would YOU go outside naked in this weather to work? would you?? Huh? Ok then, do not expect that poor lil Izula to do it either... :D

Seriously, cold wet NE in the winter, wrap the handle and save your numb fingers from having to be reattached.
Spoken with true authority from someone up there in frosty NH:D:D

For lack of paracord (not easily available where I am), I am using it as it is, but very interested to know how it would feel with the wrap.

I like it wrapped better, don't notice that much difference in my pocket. When the scales come out,I want to try them.

I have mine wrapped right now. Once the scales come in though, the wrapping is coming off. After wrapping it and handling it both ways I think that I really do like it a little more naked.

The thinness of the Izula is one of its main benefits, but a wrap certainly does help with grip.

I settled in the middle and wrapped mine with stripped out paracord (just the outer shell, none of the internal fibers). Works great.

I had my Izula for about a week before my paracord came in the mail. If felt good in the hand without the paracord, but after giving it a wrap it felt much more comfortable and grippier (if thats even a word).

As a side note I plan to buy some scales from Jeff and the gang at SHOT in a few weeks.
