Andy,
I have admired your handles for some time - the workkmanship is impeccable. I have also admired your shop in he background of the pics in previous posts:D. Nice shop.

Until now, for whatever reason, I had not noticed that you do a Bushcraft-type blade. There is no question that the handle is incredible but it's not just about the "pretty," that is one nice blade as well.

If I can be forgiven for not having a "Fiddleback" to show off and brag about (anyone who has one seems compelled to do so - and with good reason), I will have to do what is necessary to correct that error as soon as possible.

Beautiful work, Andy! Thanks for sharing.

Your 3-jean mycarta is pretty cool looking! Did you wad scraps of denim up with epoxy to get the pattern? It looks like some sort of stone.

Beautiful blades!

Yep. I was trying to figure out how Butch does that awesome burl mykarta. But mine isn't as good.

J! Damn! LOL.

Tony, I'm still kicking myself for selling that knife...

I made a pattern. More are coming. Thicker steel.

So's your bushcrafter. 5/32" thick rather than 1/8".

Same pattern as the one way up at the top of the thread?
If not, you guys are making this very difficult for me.

Tony's knife, with the fuzz sticks, two pics up is a new pattern. Its sorta a bushcraft trade knife kinda thing.

The one at the top of the thread is a Bushcrafter Jr. I'll be making a LOT of these. And the Bushcrafter Sr is the same knife with a 1" longer (5") blade.

Yea. I took a little of the width out of the blade with these and went more Kephartish. The wider blade design is going to look more like Tony's.

I will continue to do Mikarta and G-10 pins. In fact, there is an ironwood beauty on my bench now with a G-10 sheppards cross.

That sounds awesome.... Cant wait to see pics of that one. I dont think I have seen anyone else do the micarta lanyard tubes and pins. It looks awesome.

I've seen J. Neilson use Mikarta pins and tubes before.
