Max, since you have the beef and boss jack, what's your opinion on sr101 vs. Infi in a 6" blade?
 
I place an order for a couple of us last night. I am not convinced I will like the JMD (well over the RMD which I love) as much as I wanted to. The BMD is a take it or leave it blade for me. But I am always up to try ;)

Got black canvas on tanker for the JMD and Black canvas on sage for the baby Vex... :)
 
For those on the fence before they are gone, here is a comparison shot of some similar sized kin. I love the Beefmandu, it is the perfect feeling blade out of those pictured, though the mudder handles are no slouch either.

I'm in since I been wanting to replace the boss jack I sold. Have a few RMDS but want a try this. For under $200 I can't get a Boss Jack for that. Plus I like the RMD handle better and I'm a Rat threw and threw. ;)

I do not much care for the boss jack handle as it is just ok, but the RMD handle on the same length blade is oh so sweet! I think you will be very happy with your choice. :)
 
Dammit, my Brother-n-law tossed me $200 and said to order him a Vex in Blue Black G10 on Black blade......as I was ordering his I could not resist the urge to put a JMD in the cart too, Orange Black G10 with Muddy paint.......basically I am getting the JMD with G10 slabs for $140 now....NO way I could pass it up....
 
I put on my flip-flops and changed my combo from tanker/bruiser to tanker/black canvas. Figured that would make it more likely to be a user and save me a few bucks for the next one that catches my eye.
 
I couldn't help myself. Ordered the Combo deal- JMD Sage-Red/Black and Vex black bruiser. I have no self control.
 
I couldn't resist this one it's going to complete my rmd collection. I went for one black on black and the other black with black orange. Looking forward to getting dinged :)

Hopefully Skyler will continue the trend of offering up limited time group buys, I had thought he lost interest in Busse/Kin knives for awhile when he transitioned from Skystorm Leather to Patriot Leather his Busse/Kin offerings became less. I know he did not get a Trash1 or Battle Saw, probably a few others as well.

It does seem as of late that he has regained the intrest of Busse/Kin knives. I am sure if we keep buying his sheaths that he will keep up on these limited release knives.

As far as I know Skyler is one of the only leather sheath makers that tries to keep up with knife models so people do not have to send thiers in. What I can say for certian, is that all those who are getting Patriot Leather for thier Battle Saws will most likely become repeat customers....
 
Serious user/keepers that I get such as my TGLB get a set of Leather and Kydex pants, I will be getting both for my Battle Saw, CG SOB, and Rodent Solution as well.
 
Will there be another run of the (regular) vex in the future?
I love the very first model they made.
