Jack's Random Tuesday Carry

The random hand of fate dealt me this old Ankermesser today, no name on the tang-stamp

I was going to say, "Dang, I missed it again". But no.
Kutmaster, 3 & 3/8 inches closed.

Randomizing is going to be harder when I've got my knives out of the sock drawer and sorted into tackle boxes. I'll do something with dice.

Lady Luck has smiled upon you Jer :) Mine are all in boxes, so I just close my eyes and fumble around inside! :D

That knife has wonderful character, Jack!! I can see having that knife in my pocket, and worrying about the impending first World War!!
In another life of course!!:D

Thanks Charlie :) What a completely different time that would have been! For the Sheffield cutlers too, since so many didn't come back from WW1

I hope Francis Newton made it back!! He obviously provided an essential service!!:D

A Colonial. The head bolsters extend 1/8 inch to form a hook disgorger.
I have the notion the handles are cedar, which is strange, because I don't know where I'd have gotten cedar. Picnic table scrap, or a certain Christmas tree, perhaps? Or it might be mahogany.

Thanks for joining in Jer :) Nice. @r8shell gifted me a Kent Fish Knife, with the same type of bolster disgorger
