Frost Steel Warrior stockman in carbon steel and buffalo horn:



It suffers from the same odd proportions and hokey match-strike pulls as many of its compatriots, but honestly, the W&T, F&F, and sharpness out of the box are WAY better than my 2024 Case large stockman (which cost 3 or 4 times more).

It never occurred to me that “desultory” could be a near-synonym for “random”, at least not the type of randomness implied by this thread, but it certainly could be used to describe the assembly and sharpening of this stockman at the Case factory…
