It's quite a useful little knife, but I find it slightly awkward to sharpen. I had that sort of night myself Tom, as I often do. Hope you get back to sleep soon

I gave up trying to get back to sleep at 5.00am, and got up, but I'm probably going to need an extra coffee today!

I'm cutting down on caffiene for my intra-occular pressure. I'm 2/3-caf this morning.

If I'm going to carry this A. Tevolla (sp?) I'll need to haul out my little red wagon, despite the knife's flying-horse stamp.

I've never used a one finger handled fixed blade. Do you use it in a pinch grip?

It works pretty well, the lanyard sort of extends the handle

Really interesting looking knife! I assume that’s a ring lock? I’m unfamiliar with this brand/maker, but I think I might need to find out more!

How do to like that compared to an Opinel, Jack? (if I remember correctly, you’re not particularly fond of Opinels.) I’ve contemplated trying one out a few times, but with the price being a bit higher than a comparable Opinel, I haven’t bothered to pick one up yet.

Double randomness today. The CamiRem came up first, then some random anomaly in the Force caused me to choose the Barlow for Two-Blade, when I'd already picked something else.

How do to like that compared to an Opinel, Jack? (if I remember correctly, you’re not particularly fond of Opinels.) I’ve contemplated trying one out a few times, but with the price being a bit higher than a comparable Opinel, I haven’t bothered to pick one up yet.

My first one, in stainless, was gifted to me a few years back Barrett, and I bought the carbon model when they became available. I much prefer the lock to the Opinel lock, and the handles are comfortable. The blade stock is thicker, so it isn't as slicey as an Opinel, but overall, I prefer it

That gives me an idea for old friends Friday.

Hi, yes its a ring lock. Its the portuguese opinel, cheap & efficient. check out the big auction site theres a seller from france with a good selection.

I bought a few of these Boker Plus Tech Tools when they first started doing them. Carried them a few times, gave one away, then promptly forgot about them. Then Random Tuesday put this one back into my hand, and into my pocket! Handy tools, and the drop-point blades come super sharp. Have a removeable modern feature

I didn't realize I have two of these, but the one I thought this was has grinder marks this one doesn't. Sabre Japan did some nice knives.
