Jack's Random Tuesday Carry

I posted a whole thread about that knife Charlie. Had some help identifying the maker. It was an interesting search. No sign of that thread now unfortunately 🤨

Hope you had a safe round trip buddy, cool pic 😊👍
I brought back some interesting stuff, and a B'Day present (posted in Italian knives, and GEC)!
Thanks for showing us that old Russian!!

Two not very big surprises: it happens to be a stockman, and it happens to be a Utica.

I have two of these, out of a bucket at a fairgrounds flea market. They were so shiny, I just assumed they were stainless. Not so, it turns out.

Made by Colonial, according to the guy who knew the guy.

I think I'll carry one today.
You get some great finds Jer, I barely get anything on the flea markets anymore ☹️👍

Another of this sort. They must have been very popular for me to have come across so many of them. And less popular in the days when I got them cheap enough for me.
The handle looks like Kabar, but the blade is unmarked. Somebody may have replaced the sheath. I don't remember why it seemed a good idea to dip it in white paint. Sealing the tang against moisture, probably, and maybe I happened to be painting something at the time.

I've cleaned it up and sharpened it since I took this picture.
