I know that his username was changed. A couple years back or so he went by the name of Gibson Fan.

I don't know James personally, but he seems to have his head and his heart in the right place when it comes to knives and knifemaking. He doesn't seem the type to try to rip someone off intentionally.

He was hanging out over at Knifedogs.com quite a bit, but his last activity there was 10-3-10...wonder if he's having computer or health issues

Did he leave you with any other contact info other than an e-mail address?

Ok I did a little more searching, and ran across this thread: Looks like you might not be the only one that's been in this situation.

That's worrying to note =( I knew it was too good to be true, he's the only one who seemed up to making my knife idea, he also even drew up the draft for the knife blades etc.

Just an update:

James has long since been working away on the project, and I am blown away by the quality of the knives, and am more than happy with how they've turned out. I guess it was just my online paranoia getting to me when I originally started this thread.

So for anyone who's browsing and not sure, know that James Terrio did a fantastic job, and the project turned out better than I could've imagined.

I take full responsibility for the initial delays in getting these knives built. I'm happy to say they are complete and ready to ship.
