  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

January Challenge Discussion...

It's 56 here today and 60 tomorrow. Looks like I will bow out gracefully

Yeah, and I get to rub this one in on E. I told him I thought we should do something else, but NOOOOOOOOOO, he wanted his snow shelters. :D

Same here, almost 60 degrees. At least I got out in the woods and tried! It was a nice time out there, saw some coyotes and found a new deer trail.

I'm not quite in the 60's out here, but its close.

Has been cool to see other people having fun though :).

We got some snow, possibly enough to build a shelter, but I didn't have time. Yesterday it was in the high 30's and then it rained, no more chance of building a shelter, great ice skating on the highways last night tho.

70 yesterday for a record high.
50 when i got up this morning.
65 or so this afternoon...
not only did it not snow this month, it never rained, either.
<sigh>
oh, well -- Moose, what's the Feb challenge going to be -- work on my tan?

Good news is I put quite a few miles on the bike. Bad news is the front wheel bearing went out today. WTF 20,000K and a bad wheel bearing!!

Most crazy winter weather I've seen here in East Tenn in 34yrs.

Never has it been this warm, never this windy, and rain, oh, gawd has it rained.

TEOTWAWKI.

...and while you guys melt away in the heat, I'm left to endure cold air from Siberia coming down here... when I left the house going to work today (0630) it was just over 0°F. Buuut, it's apparently too cold for snow.

those damn russians.

hey, look, crocuses

buds on trees

skunk cabbages

fun stuff :>

oh wait? nope, thought that was a snow flake :)
