I have a question what are the difference between a 15" Bojpore and BAS? They appear to look the same in the pictures other the the sword of shiva I see no difference and it appears that they would handle about the same.

in a nut shell i would say that a bojpure blade is a hybrid mix of a ganga ram and wwII :thumbup:
hope that helps some... im sure others will chime with opinions :D

also, the bojpure offered today seems to be an excellent weight for that size ;)

The WWll is not unusual, though 26 ounces as light as they commonly go.
They are very consistant at 27, 28 ounces. I don't know how Kamis get the weight they want. Kinda fun to think about it.

really?!?!?! this is the first one ive seen (noticed?) thats being offered at 18"

im used to seeing them in the 16" range :D
 
Yes, Jaifospam, 18" WWll at 28 ounces all day long. So consistant it's boring.
(well- you know what I mean)

The 16.5"s run a little lighter.

I keep admiring these but am unsure what to start with?? I have a little 8" Kuhk but would like to move up as it is not much of a chopper.

How much and how thick are the branches you want cut?

The 16.5" WWll is a great camp knife- wood hawker. I think true chopping ability begins at about that length. The 18" are of course longer and heavier and will chop better, if you don't mind the extra bulk in transportation.

You know, guys, with Yangdu's help I got a friend a WWll several months ago. They gave it to their son, a 40ish year old who tested it on the growth in his backyard. Man, was he ever pleased. He called my friends right back to let them know how great the HI WWll did.

Because they gave that away, I'm sending them the Balance. They'll love it.

I'm sittin' on my hands, but the stuff that's left is first rate. A 12" Ak is NOT a small knife, I might add.
That bojpure is calling my name, however. Move fast, young sharks :D
