Japanese Kataná Sword in San Mai stainless steel (420/1084/420 stainless steel).
The firing technique is quite complicated due to the sword's size.
It features raw forja details, a polished finish, brass guards, and a leather-wrapped handle.
Heat-treated in a temperature-controlled oven.
It comes with a Brazilian wood skirt with brass alloys.
It has a striped ipê stand with a small horn and a 10g silver plate.
This piece is for display.

Mr. Doug, your post says this blade is for display...Does that mean it hasn't been sharpened, or perhaps that it might not stand under the rigors of being used in cutting exercises? It's definitely a beautiful piece, that's for sure.

Hi friend, yes I mean for display in the sense of being exhibited in your living room, but technically it's made for cutting tests on carpets, etc. It has gone through all the thermal processes of a traditional knife!

that's right she It was made as faithfully as possible to samurai war times, using the Japanese three-layer san mai technique, which I do a lot!
