Hello,
This is my take on a Japanese petty or paring knife. Forged from my own pattern welded steel from 1095 and 15N20 high carbon steels. Blade is heat treated for excellent edge retention.
Blade is 4.75", over all length is 10.25". Thickest part of the spine is .062" with distal taper. Tang extends 3/4 of the way into the handle. Handle is made of African Blackwood and Yellow Heart.
