Jason Brous

We stock Jason Brous knives ->> Jason Brous Knives
I've met Jason at the 2013 Blade Show and also met him and his wife at the 2014 SHOT Show.
Jason is a nice guy... he may not be running the business perfectly, but I don't get any kind of impression that mistakes he makes is done on purpose or maliciously.

Since he manufactures these knives, he mostly deals with production, dealer orders, distributor orders, shipping, payments, etc. It can be a bit overwhelming especially when things are busy.

The prices he sells his knives at should be the same as any dealer of his unless he is having some kind of special.
My suggestion is to buy from one of his dealers as they will have the knife already in stock and ready to ship and they are not involved with anything else other than to cater to their customers.

Nice idea, but first I would like to get my money back!
I have another knife from Bush Monkey Knives shipping and this company is working like it should be!

Well I know you are very new here, but you really should research a bit more before writing certain things. I certainly hope BMK has improved their reputation, because that user was banned from here for all kinds of poorly thought out actions and comments. One thing is true, BMK was consistent in it's nuttiness.

There is a slew of things that at one point were questioned and no answers were found. If you like them, excellent, aside from that he left his "mark" on the carpet here and it was quickly cleaned up.

BMK what a joke. He uses Hitler to sell his knives and calls all of us on this forum Hippies for loving knives. Sodahl, you think BMK is good? Anyone who uses Hitler to sell his knives and thinks its funny is a fool.

May I further add that anyone who names their establishment "Bush Monkey Knives" is a fool as well.

I've done business with Jason a couple of times and it was flawless! Did you consider the fact that your package may have been seized by customs since you are out of country?

I collect knives for more then 25 years now and never lost one because of customs. I got a tracking no from Jason and this show the knive has never been send...simple as that.
I found BMK on facebook and liked the design. So I asked if he would deliver to germany and he did...the contact was excellent and my knife is on the way - can check it via tracking no.
I didn't read anything about any Hitler stuff...so this is new to me.

Go on BMK's site. The tasteless Hitler video is right at the bottom page one. Check out RevDevil's prompt in blue right above you tp see it. I've bought 4 knives from Jason and with him I've waited longer than with anyone, but his prices are great for the quality and he will warranty all his work for life. These are custom/mid tech knives made in his shop and with lil out sourcing. Sodahl, I'm sorry about your negative experience with Jason. He really is a nice guy. Just a crappy shipper/ office manager.

I know this is off topic, but since I can't PM you sodahl... I was stationed in Augsburg from Oct 93 to Nov 95. I absolutely loved it there! Majority of my friends were German's studying English at university or English construction workers. Hardly ever spent a day on base as I was out and about the town, mtn biking, hiking, etc. Loved the food, beer, and ladies, and all agreed w/me!

I hope you get your knife.

I pre-ordered the Mini Division Flipper from Jason.
The first batch of them were completed in a timely manner.
I paid off the amount owed within minutes of receiving his email stating they were ready to ship.
Six days later, the the tracking finally showed it in USPS system. I could have saved money just buying it from BladeHQ instead.

If he releases another model I like, I'll just get through the retail channel.

I'm not necessarily a fan of BMK's but if you are unaware of the clip (from the movie Downfall) (great movie btw) it is used as a meme for several things. I would never make the jump to say he is using Hitler to advertise his knives, it is a parody of Hitler and his generals

A few months back I purchased a knife directly from Jason. The knife was discounted and being discontinued. I paid for it. Within 5 minutes of the purchase I emailed him to cancel the order. He replied that I was not allowed to cancel the order because it was discounted. Given that it wasn't shipped I have a real problem with this customer service or lack there of. Just not good over all experience.

I got my Bushmonkey knife last week and it is perfect.
Jason keeps telling me he has send the knife which is nonsense - tracking no showed it was never send anywhere...
Great service...

So the next step would be to inform him that if the order is not cancelled (prior to shipping) you will cancel the charge via your CC company. Again, these knives are literally at a dozen or more retailers. I have no idea why so many people insist on going directly through the primary channel. Post 21 sort of explains it all really, for just about any scenario related to buying items online.

Update: I got the knife...I have no idea why it took 11 month but it did...the tracking didn't work so I can't figure out what happened ;-(

I had the same experience with the mini division myself. Could have saved myself about $25.
