Thanks for the concern OP. Thankfully I am not the direct customer, the knife belongs to a client of mine who wants some sheath work done so I am not in a loss just in a bit of concern about Jason.

I am a worrier.

Just to make this clear. I am not worried about his work, just about the person. Dont fear ordering from Jason, he is NOT messing with anyone's money. I am concerned about the person.

Well, even the best person can be offended. And once somebody's offended, things get very sticky and confused.

Jason said he tried to call you today. The knife that was to be cleaned up has been shipped out to you for leather work per the customers request. The customer needs to contact Jason to pay for the the worked performed. I think this whole thing could have been handled a little better with a couple of phone calls.

I got the message and all is well in knife land. I was out with the kids going trick or treating, my feet feel like hamburger. I'll call back tomorrow.

I really dont see where anything got out of hand or nasty, looks like it was pretty neutral, but someone told Jason that I was writing all kind of bad things and basically ripping him a new one. Why would someone do that??

The "I hope he didnt mean it that way" was just that, he didnt mean it that way. Writing is such a difficult medium to express emotion, and simple remarks can be taken in so many different ways, especially inside jokes. I wasnt familiar with the particular inside joke here so I didnt understand what he meant.

My end of this isnt important.

I didnt have Jasons Phone number. All the info I have is his name and that he is sending a knife to me to get a sheath made.

My concern is genuine, I meant no malice in posting this thread, it was the only way I could figure to get a hold of Jason. My intent wasnt to defame or make inflamatory accusations, and I dont think I did that. Bobby, I hope I didnt make you think I was trying to flush him out by force.

Nothing to see here, folks. I am the person in question, who's knife was being cleaned up by Jason, and who's sheath will be made by Dwayne. Jason is a friend of mine and one of the finest knifemakers in the World. Nothing has changed my opinions of him here.

Lesson learned on my part, sit back and wait it out even if it takes a year, I wont get involved in another one of these again.
