:( TODAY WAS THE SADDEST DAY OF MY LIFE , MY GOOD FRIEND AND BUDDY, MY DAD PASSED AWAY THIS MORNING AFTER A 13YEAR BATTLE WITH CANCER .TO ME , THERE WAS NO GREATER HERO THAN MY DAD .HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED . HE HAS NOT EVEN BEEN GONE A DAY AND I FEEL SO LONELY WITHOUT HIM . HE DIED AT HOME IN THE WONDERFUL BED WE SHARED . I AM SO GRATEFUL THAT I MOVED HOME TO TAKE CARE OF HIM AND TO ASSIST MY MOTHER IN HIS DAY TO DAY CARE .HE WAS BLESSED TO HAVE A GREAT DOCTOR WHO WAS NOT ONLY HIS PHYSICIAN , BUT A CHILDHOOD FRIEND OF MINE AND A FAMILY FRIEND .I AM ALSO THANKFUL TO HIS HOSPICE NURSE WHO HELPED HIM TO DIE AT HOME WITH DIGNITY ,SURROUNDED BY THOSE WHO LOVED HIM MOST . I GOT TO TAKE HIM TO HIS FAVORITE RESTAURANT LAST NIGHT .ALTHOUGH HE WAS NOT ABLE TO EAT MUCH , HE ENJOYED BEING WITH MY MOTHER AND I .HE MAINTAINED A SENSE OF HUMOR TO THE VERY END COMMENTING ON YESTERDAY AFTER HE LEFT THE SHOWER THAT ALTHOUGH THE CANCER REDUCED HIS 5'11"BODY TO 130LBS IT DID NOT AFFECT THE SIZE OF HIS PENIS OR TESTICLES !! HE EVEN STRUCK A DOUBLE BICEP BODYBUILDER POSE IN HIS UNDERWEAR FOR ME WHEN I TOOK THE LAST PHOTO OF HIM .ALTHOUGH I WAS OUT OF TOWN WHEN HE PASSED AWAY THIS MORNING I WAS COMFORTED TO KNOW HE WAS WITH MY MOTHER WHO HE WAS WITH FOR 55 YEARS AND HIS BELOVED HOSPICE NURSE JANET .I ARRIVED 1 HOUR LATER AND WAS ABLE TO HOLD HIM AND BE WITH HIM FOR A WHILE .IN HIS MEMORY , I WILL NOT BE POSTING UP ANY ADS THIS WEEKEND .BLADEFORUMS IS COMPOSED OF MANY KIND THOUGHTFUL PEOPLE WHO HAVE OFFERED THEIR CONDOLENCES UPON LEARNING OF MY FATHERS PASSING I TRULY APPRECIATE ANY KIND WORDS YOU MAY HAVE TO OFFER DURING THIS MOST DIFFICULT OF TIMES THANK YOU JACK AKA JAXURMAN

Dear Jack,
So sorry for your terrible loss. Thru your days of a heavy heart, you shall remain in my prayers.......Ira

Jaxurman,
I hate to hear that. It will take a long time but eventually your sense of loss will lessen to a degree, but only a degree. Take care of yourself and your other loved ones. Try to remember the good times, those memories are what keep one going through the bad times.
Brian

Jack:

I'm sorry to hear that your father passed away. I'm sure his influence on your life and your memories of him will remain with you forever.

Take Care.

Don

I know how much your father meant to you. I'm glad to hear that you were able to spend some time with him on his last night in this world. Our prayers are with you, your mother, and all of your family. Your mother will need you by her side to get her through these times of sorrow and I'm sure you can use her company, too. Let me know if there's anything I can do for you. Take care and may God bless, Dudley

Jack,

I'm truly sorry and saddened to hear of your dad's body dying. Always take heart in the fact that his Spirit and memories will be with you forever.

With time, your broken heart will heal.

Jax, you have been thru hardtimes for sure...I too have been down that road with my Dad....now watching my bedfast Mom slip...real tuff. One consolation I found with my Dad is that he is at peace and the pain I feel is MY personal loss...this does not make it hurt less, but I found some comfort in this thought. My prayers are with you, your Mom, and of course, your Dad. Regards, Mike

Jack, keep your chin up, he is in a much better place now. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

I know this has been very hard for you. After awhile the sadness will fade. You will think of your father and smile as a fond memory enters your thoughts. You were able to be with him right to the end. He knew he was loved and I am sure that made things easier for him. You were a good son to him and he was obviously a good father to you.

My prayers are with you, the rest of his family and all his friends.

I'm sorry to hear it Jack.

From our numerous phone conversations, I know you were close with your dad.

From my personal experience...keep him in your memory, and he'll be there when you need him...

Jack,
My thoughts are with you and your mom on the loss of your dad.. The memories you have of him will be with you forever.
With friendship,
Rick
