Over the years I have noticed that on some brands of jeans that the rivet at the top corner can come in contact with the side of my pocket knife when I clip it to my pocket. Which causes the very edge of the rivet to glide up and down the titanium of the scale causing the sand blasted finish to be…basically ruined.
Of course I didn’t do a before photo of how it looks, hindsight and all that, but it was a bit mucked up.
So to ‘cover up’ the mess I decided to just even out the mess and make it look more intentional

using a piece of scotchbright to even out the errant marks so it blends in. The pocket clip has the usual snail trails from carrying it but those marks from the rivet were pretty ugly by their lonesome.
I have seen some YouTube videos of repairing the sandblasted titanium using sandpaper and a piece of wood to hammer down to make it look like it was sandblasted again but it had varying degrees of success and with this small area plus the fact it would just happen again, I opted for this to make it overall look better.
Have any of you guys and girls have this experience? I also had a Sebenza get similar marks.
