I was fortunate enough to buy a splendid "user" version of the Busse SHBM (Straight Handled Battle Mistress) from Mr. Jeremy Horton, a young knifemaker with a sub-forum right here on the BF.
He is probably the very easiest person to talk to on BF. Open, honest, easy to reach -- and a splendid young fellow. We sealed the deal in just a few minutes and the knife arrived at my door in near-record time.
He put a bead-blasted finish on the knife himself, which I consider the perfect finish for a user knife. I couldn't be more satisfied or more willing to do additional deals in the future.
