I am looking for a couple of fbm's I sent ya a couple months ago. Called and talked to everyone. Jerry, Garth, Amy. But can't get an answer as to when I should get my blades back. If your lurking around here plese let me know how they are doing. Going through withdraw here. Thanks! Jeff;)

Your blades are fine. They're relaxing happily while getting pedicures, manicures, and massages. You can stop worrying. Your knives are probably soaking in Scotch as well. Come to think of it...

I know Jerry told me he would send me some pigs nose if I couldn't find any locally. I just keep buying JWB 439.00 for a 1.75 liter bottle. I know they are busy but I though a warranty issue would be taken care of faster than this.

Hmmm... let's try to keep our priorities in place. Number one should be something like...

BLOODBATHGANZAAAA !!!!! :D

...since I have it on good authority your knives will be back in "TWO WEEKS." :p

Seriously, I'm sure someone will be in touch directly with a better idea. I'll bet they've been working around the clock to get some of the 'Ganzaaaa knives ready for photos.

Two weeks

Is that two weeks per post?

well if you read the bible, it took God 6 days to make the earth, but we all know that one of gods days was measured in thousands if not millions of our years, so, thus,....two weeks......:D

Besides Jeff has been around long enough to know the answer to his own dumb questions:D

Jeff,

Sorry for the delay, but we sent the handle fasteners out for testing and examination under high magnification. . . We've got your blades back and all is well. . . . Apparently there was nothing wrong with your handles after all. . . It looks as though when you were pounding on the spine of the knife, the one side of the handle was resting on the top of the log or branch you were splitting, thus contributing to the damage. We can tell this happened by the shiny rub mark on the bottom of the handle, the mark in the coating directly under the handle, and the complete distortion of the inside of the tube. . . as you continued to beat the spine of the knife with the one side of the handle propped up and the blade and other side unsupported, you created a scissor-like action that turned the supported handle and the unsupported blade and other side of the handle into a shears! The tube did exactly as it was designed to do, and that was to bend before breaking. You would have had to continue with a serious blade whooping in order to have done any more damage to the tube. We have seen similar distortions in knives that were thrown where only one side of the handle absorbed all of the impact.

Your handles have been removed, cleaned, and reattached. They should ship out within the next couple of days . . . . Let the beatings continue, and always know that your knives are covered by our warranty. . . :D

Nuke on!!!

Jerry

Jeff, don't you know that you are supposed to split wood with the edge of your knife not the handle? :D

Woah....

That's a pretty good warranty.

Methinks I ought to pick one one of those...

xanax was probably just softening up the wood with the handle before he chopped it with the sharp part. :p

Sweet. the log I was splitting was too large I guess. Didn't know it was shearing it though. I was trying to take bites out of the log a little at a time. I didn't think It would have bent the tube though:confused:

Hey, maybe Busse needs to start making INFI tubes

Is it just me, or does anyone else laugh hysterically when the read this?

 to Jerry and his customer service and professionalism!

Oh crud. I accidentally dropped my custom-handled SH1A into my particle accelerator and it vaporized. Sorry about that Jerry. Can you whip another one up for me under warranty??? I'd send you the pieces, but there isn't anything left. I'll tell you, the collision was pretty cool. I might post it on Youtube.

;)
