I find it amazing so many like the SAR5, but that's cool.
I could not stand the ASH-1 when it was released, now it's my favorite. So much that I got my recent ASH in a trade for an SFNO and with NO Regrets! Who knows, maybe the SAR will grow on me. I'm not holding my breath though.

I just got mine, and I think it's gonna be a great camp knife

The handles are a little thicker than I expected, but I like it. Great design even though the janitor hates them. :D I have to be careful though. I'm used to having a choil, and I find myself choking right up to the blade edge. Pics when I get home.

Have to agree. A great blade. I ordered a couple but never got a notification stating a yes or no.

Then One just showed up (Thanks AMY).

I love it!
 
I think this blade may go down in Busse history not as a mistake, but as a limited production run of a blade created by a mad, scotch-infested (or would it be ingested?) genius. :eek: It is possible that I am mistaken, but I feel that this particular knife is the perfect balance between utility, durability, and well, coolness! :cool:

My thoughts on the value of this knife are that it will greatly appreciate in the future. I would NOT be surprised to see this knife going for $500-$550 in the near future.

For the whiners that did not get a shot... too damn bad...sorry that you got plowed down at the trough :p Supply and demand can be a real beatch.....

One must be fleet of hoof to survive the trough now-days... :D

Now... I am willing to entertain a trade for a couple ZT's or strait handles... but only cuz I feel sorry for you. :D
