Have you noticed any pre-flash with this light?
Thanks again, I just wish the low was even lower, like the moonlight mode on my Quark. I'm still probably gonna have to pick one up.
Having been spoiled with the Sunwayman's V10R variable output, I haven't felt an urge for a new light until now. Thanks for the pics, I think I'll be picking one up soon!
Thanks for the clarification jaiofspam. My RRT isnt that bright on its lowest setting though. Could running IMR's vs 14500 cells be the cause of that?
Jai, which of the two lights do you like better and why? I've been planning to get a single 123a infinitely variable light, and those two seem to be the popular options. I like the extra features of the RRT-0, but I've heard the V10R is higher quality in some respects.
i think theyre about the only options for single cr123, clicky switched & ramping ringed lights. between the two i would have to say i favor the jetbeam over the sunwayman. the rrt-0 has a lock out mode, strobe & hidden sos. i also like the crenelated strike bezel option and overall look and feel of the rrt-0 better. the sunwayman is extremely well built. the rotating ramping ring rotates smoother and is recessed flat against the body resisting accidental adjustment/rotation in pocket. the switch is of higher quality compared to the sorta mushy rrt-0 switch. its also about half an inch shorter overall compared to the rrt-0 (minus strike bezel) and does not have any flashing modes which some may favor.

I think that Surefire and Nitecore have models like that, but the Nitecore has gotten some bad reviews and the Surefire costs maybe twice as much as these. Thanks for the input, I do really like the fixed clip option on the Jetbeam. That's also the first picture I've seen of the V10R aluminum with the titanium AA extender. The two finishes don't clash as much as I thought they would, but then again if I want the titanium clip and AA extender the RRT-0 with those options would be cheaper than the V10R with the same accessories.
