Another experiment done. Officially hate mammoth, but the knife turned out nice! I had to thin down a caplifter from a 15 to fit the 85 spring and did some fitting, modifications to the geometry to make it flush and work right.

No it was green jigged bone with a pen blade. I thinned down a 15 caplifter and tweaked it to work on the 85 frame.

Knocked 1 more out so I can relax tomorrow.

Bullnose in ebony with a handmade Westy shield. Going for the "ebony and ivory look"

Bit the bullet... Started drinking in the AM and pumped out an Ancient Speerlow!

Round 2 for the day. Stripped off the pink bone covers and deleted a blade. Added blue camel bone and polished it up to a mirror.

That was the original plan until I saw how pretty the micarta was going to finish. I'll do a shielded 15 soon!

Jfowl31 can I call dibs on that coping blade from the 77? I think you'd make a mighty fine chip Whittler out of that with that same beautiful micarta you just put on that 15.
