Ok, here's what I got out of G6's emails that he sent to me -
- G6 had a problem with his JB knife or something along those lines
- G6 posted about it on the forums
- Jim contacted G6 about his problem and offered to send G6 a Diamondback for testing and evaluation for 2 days.
- G6 accepted, and hasn't seen the knife
- Jim says he has orders to fill, which is delaying it.
From what I can see here, both parties are at fault.
Jim shouldn't have made the offer without being ready to live up to the commitment.
G6 shouldn't be so upset by this, because he hasn't paid anything for this knife, nor were any contracts signed, nor are his livelihood or finances affected.
So, IMHO, this is all something that's being blown out of proportion.
Jim, I'd suggest that you send G6 the knife when possibly (orders permitting), because you made a commitment when you said you'd do so, even if it is for a 2 day period.
G6, I'd suggest you calm down and chill out about it.
That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it.
