Jim of JB Knives.

Why? What was the problem? Scumbag? Not called for or needed. My posts on OPM BEWARE are about what happened to me. Please read the link.

Ok, here's what I got out of G6's emails that he sent to me -
  • G6 had a problem with his JB knife or something along those lines
  • G6 posted about it on the forums
  • Jim contacted G6 about his problem and offered to send G6 a Diamondback for testing and evaluation for 2 days.
  • G6 accepted, and hasn't seen the knife
  • Jim says he has orders to fill, which is delaying it.

From what I can see here, both parties are at fault.

Jim shouldn't have made the offer without being ready to live up to the commitment.

G6 shouldn't be so upset by this, because he hasn't paid anything for this knife, nor were any contracts signed, nor are his livelihood or finances affected.

So, IMHO, this is all something that's being blown out of proportion.

Jim, I'd suggest that you send G6 the knife when possibly (orders permitting), because you made a commitment when you said you'd do so, even if it is for a 2 day period.

G6, I'd suggest you calm down and chill out about it.

That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it.

It is too late for that.I do not want a JB product in my house,or in my jurisdiction. And that is something that I have complete officer discretion on.Thanks Spark, anyway, but you don`t understand that we never forget a favor,or a slight, nor do we ever want to.Only Mil. and LEO`s can pack autos here. You can collect them, and keep them home.Others do so at their own peril. Now,if no harm,no foul, is the general attitude.
Spark failed to mention that it was JB`s own words that I forwarded to him.

Ok, so now you don't want the knife even if he does send it?

That changes things.

G6, you've had your opportunity to slam Jim. You've done so.

Now you've expressed that even if he does try to make things right, you don't care and don't want the knife. That's your perrogative.

That's all we need to hear from you on this subject now. Anything further is just beating a dead horse. Since we already know your feelings on this, you don't need to keep bringing them up.

As for your holding a grudge, or never forgeting a slight or whatever, that's all fine and dandy, it's your lifestyle. But, I have to tell you, it's not anyone else's business so you don't need to keep bringing it up. You've made your point, now move on.

You know the facts Kevin;it seems to me that you would welcome the exposere of dishonesty. You should do it yourself.

G6, you can expose dishonesty all you want. Going out of your way to make snipey little comments is not that. Entering every thread about a JB knife isn't a good way to do that either.

Make your beef known, share all the facts, and get it out in the open. I've made my decision on this: I feel you are over reacting. You aren't doing much to convince me otherwise, especially since you didn't lose any money on this.

So, speak your peace and move on. But don't just sit there and repeat "He's a crook! He's dishonest!" ad nauseum because all you are doing is wearing my patience and not accomplishing anything else.

This horse is dead,Spark should have said what he knew,so far as my old enemy will tell you,it does not pay to mess with a COL,.For my new enemies you will blow with the wind. You never had substance. At least Jackal was a worthy opponent. He did his homework.
I hate to complement you AR,but sometimes enemies make strange bedfellows.

I said exactly what I knew. Reread my post.

G6, you don't have a case and you are overreacting. Clear and simple. You don't have any money invested in buying a D-Back, you refuse any attempts by Jim to make things right, so all you are doing now is repeatedly posting that you are unhappy and not doing anything to fix it.

This is unproductive. Either fix your problem, or try to fix it, or don't complain.

Stage One: Arguing.

Stage Two: Arguing about arguing.

Stage Three: Arguing about arguing about arguing.

Stage Four: Arguing about....

Jim said early that he would not fix it.Before I posted. He has lawyers. If this is libel, bring them on.I printed it out.

If Jim does keep his word,I will give the steel a fair evaluation. You have my word.
I would not consider this had not Spark suggested it.All is in the open now.All options are at hand.We will see.
