Hey cool! A couple of the things I put in there have been selected!

Makes me feel better about all the great loot I absconded with!

I don't know if this has been discussed but this box should never stop. What happens when it eventually gets to the last person? Start over? It would be awesome to see the box evolve and see how far it can go. Just a thought.

I'm glad people liked the noise maker! i terrorized my friends cats with them as a child :rolleyes:. If we get to the end of the list we should just start back from the beginning and add new people to the end as they ask

I would be the last person. I was thinking that maybe I would pick a few items like everyone has and then auction off the rest for Hanna (either as a whole or a blind lot (everything in the box but you don't get to see it) or perhaps in a few smaller lots of items).

If you guys are interested in keeping the box going, we could do a second round and end it again with an auction to benefit Evan? I was also thinking that if we do a second round we could include an envelope to place checks in that could supplement the money raised from the auction. Just a few ideas, let me know what you guys want to do.

I looked through the thread a bit but didint see too much, give me a quick rundown of the details/ rules. thanks in advance guys- Joel
 
Short version..receive the box, take cool stuff out. Put different cool stuff in, send on to next person on list
 
Didn't get the box out today, worked too late. I'll get this out ASAP! :)

That pretty much sums it up. Here's the "official" version.....


The idea is that the box will show up and you will receive some cool stuff. You will then add some new cool stuff and send it on to the next participant.

A few ideas on what to include.....

Outdoor related gear such as compasses, match safes (empty please), pouches, etc
Books
Knives
Cord
Non-perishable treats
Cool stuff you make

A few guidelines.....

Open to any BF member located in the CONUS that is at least 18 years of age
You may take whatever you want when the box is shipped to you. There is no minimum, "one for one" or "dollar for dollar" rule.
The items may be new, used, bought, made or collected but should be in a working or functional condition.
The items you put in the box must be legal to ship via USPS and be generally legal to own/possess/ship (if in doubt about this, it probably doesn't belong in the box)
Please forward the box on in a timely manner after receipt (3-5 days)
Please post about the goodies you received (pics preferred)
 
Just received and had a lot of fun w/ it--got some paracord, a tek-lok mount, and two carabiners. It's off on Monday to Covington VA w/ an add of a Boker magnum, a Case screwdriver set, Buck paraphenalia, and some fun odds and ends. Better than XMAS and the box was surprisingly full and heavy; I'll always be up for another round and the auction is a great idea.
