Nice! So the box will be chillin in the JK shop until next weekend when Andy will take his turn.
 
The JKBOG was delivered to me today at the JK Shop.

The box is HEAVY!

Sean and I agree; the folks have been putting in more than they are taking out!

I have my eye on a few goodies in the box, and I have some pictures of the box and the tactical molle-compatable oven-mitt that was in the box.

The box has grown from small to medium and was packed to the gills! Since the original idea was a small flat rate box if you receive the larger box, but don't want to spend double on the shipping, it would be perfectly fine to take enough stuff out to make what's left fit in the smaller package.

Since we got a sneak peek at the Gathering, I have to say that you guys have been more than generous. There's some very cool stuff in there! How many people can say they have a tactical oven mitt/beer cozy!
 
My wife saw the box and she decided she had to have a new victorinox for her purse, so it is down one vic.

I also took out one of the "noise maker" deals since there were two and I was curious.

I have taken a few other things out - a Zippo lighter and a very nice yellow bone slip-joint.

I have put several new things back in the box, so it will remain a medium flat rate for now - but Sean is right - take some stuff out of the JKBOG, otherwise it will be come the JKTOG - Trunk of Goodies!

I will ship it out by Wednesday.

I did not get the JKBOG on it's way last week as promised, but it will ship out today!

I added a few items - and took some pictures which I will post later.

I removed a beautiful banana yellow bone "sinking canoe" slip joint knife, a couple of Zippo slimline lighters (I have a small collection of Zippos), the Tactical Oven Mitt, and one of the noise maker toys.

Thanks for organizing this, Sean! Please send me the address of the next person on the list and I will have the box at the post office today - it is packaged up and ready for an address label.

Oh, there's still room on the list if anyone else would like to join. After a sneak peek, I have to say there is a ton of very cool stuff in the box!
 
I'm starting to feel the anticipation of the box arriving. I have a few items in mind to add if there is enough room.
 
Hi Folks -

I feel like a burglar after I removed my loot from the JKBOG!!

Sean counseled me to take some stuff out of the box, since it seems that it is just growing larger and heavier, as people put in more than they take out.

I found a beautiful Yellow Bone Traditional "Sinking Canoe" in the JKBOG, that was scaled and restored by our friend Glennbad, so I plucked that!

I also stole the tactical, digicam oven mitt and beer holder - very nice! Finishing up my purloined goods was two older Zippo slimline lighters - I have a small collection and will polish these up and get them going again to be placed with my others and used occasionally.

The final piece was a small keychain noise-making toy - there were two of them in the BOG, so I decided to remove one and give it to my wife Maggie.

Thanks to everyone who put the great stuff in the box - it was hard to decide what to keep, as there is a lot of great stuff in the JKBOG!!

The box itself has been added too, and it is again nice and full.

Thanks to Sean - this is a neat idea - Maggie and I enjoyed just going through the box and enjoying all the stuff!

I threw that green pouch in the BOG thinking of you asking about my slingshot ammo pouch last spring.Glad you snagged it.
The fatwood is from a Ponderosa Pine stump by my camp,very resinous,a couple of sparks is all it takes to get that stuff going.
 
The wind chill is below zero tonight here in Illinois but the Box O Goodies is on it's way to warm & sunny Florida, minus a very nice and super sharp Leatherman knife and a small fire stick! Had to get a new Flat Rate box cause the other one was getting very shabby
 
Nice bounty B! Excited that the box o goodies is coming to my town!! Though it is FREEZING tonight! 55 degrees brrr ;)
 
I wish you could have packed me in that box and shipped me to Florida, man it is chilly out there!

Got a slip saying the package made it! I'm going to pick it up tomorrow from the PO and get it out ASAP. Stay tuned!
 
Box has been looted! Lots of great stuff inside! My wife picked the noise maker and patch, and the little one took....

I'll get this out tomorrow, look out 'HotLanta'!
