You probably did - I have been checking in from my phone a lot lately, so I probably just missed it -

I always hang onto the receipt until I know the package arrived - no worries!

hey grunt, thanks for the pictures, glad you like it, I can lower it if you want? I'll be sure to try and keep that in mind for the future as well, thanks!

sheath showed up today and this is exactly how these knives were made to be carried. awesome set up! Folks if you didn't order one with the pocket clip I highly recommend you do.

One thing for pete. next time on the firesteel loop. Put it lower down on the sheath. if the firesteel is not upside as I have it in the photo it kind of gets in the way of drawing the knife. No big deal as I can just put it upside down and use the shock cord for retention. I didn't think about it when asking you to add the firesteel loop but noticed it today when pulling the knife in and out of the sheath.

and now some obligatory pics :)

I will definitely need to add a pocket clip on my Cleaver Jr. Thanks for sharing these pics. Looking forward to the progress in the coming month.

Good news, the knives arrived form John today!

I'll get to work on them ASAP and hopefully have some more pictures soon

The parts are all cut out, brass tubes and mosaic pins all around, I'm waiting while the liners are glue on,

it's awful cold in the old building right now, may have to turn the little space heater on soon, for now it's just a nice refreshing kind of brisk :)

some in progress pictures :) nice to be using some curly maple for a change and I haven't done liners in a while so I'm enjoyed dusting off the clamps :)

thanks Grunt! I'm cutting material for sheaths the cleaver is finished sanded , taking a break before going back to the sand paper :)

They look great with the liners - nice work Pete!

thanks, Andy,

Well there all finished up, they need some more coats of linseed and the sheaths need to sit a while but they should be ready to go out Thursday, I'll snap some pictures tomorrow. I think the white really worked well on these because the wood had some very nice grain and it really brings it out

well it's wet, windy and dreary here but the knives are all but done (need some drying time still so I'm bringing them in the house)

Pictures came out okay for such a drab morning I think

took some in hand shots because i know john likes to make sure I'm not just working the kids in a sweat shop but doing the work myself :)

Pocket king in some very nice walnut

Pocket rocket in walnut and white liners

Cleaver jr in curly maple (love these scales) and white liners

sheaths are still a little wet from forming as well (this ones for the Pocket King in walnut)

more pictures

hope you all like 'em
