Well, just got the schedule for ODP and my son has a practice the 17th in St Louis. My wife returned to school recently and has a class all day on Saturday so it looks like I will have to take him. I am working on a possible alternative but I would guess at this point that I may not be able to attend.

Considering I have already been going through my gear and planning out what to bring, to say I was looking forward to this is a huge understatement!

Sorry guys and always remember "it'll only hurt for a little while" ;(
 
Just to show how pathetic I am, I`ve already chosen my knives for the trip (at least 4!), and my backpack is packed. All I need to do is pick up food, but I think I better wait a bit for that. 5 more weeks!

Heading to Knob Creek at 3am tomorrow - then the next cool thing will be our gathering.

It will be a blast as usual.

Kirill is in - we'll get a head count for the steaks. ;^)

I just checked out the link to the Yurt & that looks cool as heck with the lake,river & trails nearby.
You guys should have a good gathering there.(lucky dogs)

My only question is....are any of you going to Hell(Mich.)?;)

i really did think about heading out there. but, it's a hike. and more importantly, that's the first weekend of deer season up here. looking forward to the pics! :)
