JK FFL 2013 Season starting!

I've already told my family I'll be busy form 10 nwards tonight, looking forward to it though, auto draft might be a better idea for me but good ideas be damned! :)

Yeah, autodraft probably knows more than I do, but it isn't nearly as much fun. ;)

MAggie will be home shortly, we will eat and then settle in for the draft.

I had another draft yesterday and I have been doing some mock drafts, so I am generally confused as ever lol.

I've had three drafts this year, and i tell ya...i don't know why i prepare. i spend a good amount of time "studying", but when i get to the draft, i never seem to follow my cheatsheets. go figure.

Looking forward to this season!
 
I can not even begin to count the mock drafts i do before a season. Sometimes a hundred or more. (I'm a loser, what can i say)

Real drafts never turn out the same.

i was hoping Monday Night Football would be on tonight. no such luck. i'll get logged in in a minute. i am still pre-gaming. :D
 
I ended up having to work OT until 7pm and won't get home until 7:30 so autodraft will have to carry me until then. Good luck everyone!
 
hey andy, i have a legit league question. i just re-read the scoring and saw this...
Kicking Each PAT Made (PAT) 1 Total FG Missed (FGM) -1

I do not see that we get points for field goals. is that true? or, that a setup issue? just making sure that is/was intentional.

Please forgive me for asking a question about kickers. i feel shame.

Hi Todd -

Should be 3 points for a FG - I did not change anything there -

Edited - I checked and sure enough - no points for a FG - I corrected that - thanks for pointing that out!

Sorry I couldn't join everyone for the draft. I ended up feeling sick as a dog and went to bed with the chills. Looks like I did okay for an autodraft, though.

BTW Andy, please send me your address again so I can forward payment. I think I have it somewhere, but can't remember where to look.

I thought the draft went really well last night aside from Jack grabbing my namesake :( & me not figuring out how to draft a player at first. It went a lot faster than I expected. Wow, the QBs went fast.

I'm going to be pulling for Drew to put up big numbers against Atlanta, which sort of means I'm pulling for Jack against me in the first FFL game.... :hypnotysed:

Yeah, it was fun. i am short on WR's (maybe?...took some chances there). I also do not love my RB's, even though they are good. i just don't love rooting for them. i will have to learn.

Basically, i think if all my players do well, then i should be ok. :rolleyes:

Always remember you can trade in this league. I know Jack had some issues getting in last night so he was not able to draft - so he may be up for a trade, although his team looks pretty stout!

In fact, there are several nice teams in the league.

if you go to google and type in - rate my team - click on the first link and you can enter your team there and see some good analysis of your team and chances of making the playoffs.

I won't give up all my secrets , but I will give up a few ;^)

Yeah, I could log on to the league page but it kept denying me access to the draft. It was frustrating at first but after seeing the team that autodraft picked for me, I immediately felt better. Good luck everyone.
 
I think i left myself loose at TE, my main man is getting older :) and of course I took the gamble on RG3 and messed up my second choice by taking too long and getting auto drafted! still, I'm learning and fairly happy with the team, going to check out that link though Andy,thanks!
 
Draft was a great time last night, thank you all! Seems like there just were not enough good Running Backs this year, plus the Jacksons & Johnsons went real fast!
And what the heck was that odd name MQQN picked late!
